Rates & Payment Info

Trophy Fees: See pricing under The Game section of our website for individual species trophy fee information.

Daily guide rate 1 hunter: one guide per hunter is US $550 per person.

Daily guide rate 2 hunters: one guide with two hunters is US $400 per person.

Daily rate for non-hunters: Adults are US $250/day. Children 12 and under are US $100/day.

Pick up and Drop off ex Taupo airport (if not self driving): US $200/vehicle.

Rifle Hire: US $100/hunter for the duration of your stay.

Gratuities: Please come prepared with cash if you are planning on tipping your guide. We are unable to process guide tips through the business.

Accepted form of payment: Cash (USD or NZD) and Credit Card. If paying by credit card a 2.95% transaction fee applies. We cannot accept personal cheques as cheques can no longer be banked in New Zealand.

Please advise your credit card company that you will be travelling to New Zealand and have them uplift the International Security Locks off them so they work in New Zealand.

The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard & American Express.

WHAT DOES THE DAILY RATE INCLUDE?

Included – Accommodation, hunting guide, meals, field dressing of game, trophy caping and delivery to our New Zealand expeditor.

Excluded –International travel and internal airfares, pick up and drop off to Taupo airport, trophy fees, expediting and taxidermy fees, alcoholic beverages, rifle hire.

Cancellation and Deposits Terms

Deposit – An immediate deposit of $2,000 is required to confirm your hunt dates.

If you cancel your hunt you will incur a 50% loss of your deposit. Or the deposit can be 100% credited (once) toward a future hunt before the end of the following season only.

Donated or Auction hunts, these hunts are booked without a deposit.

If you are unable to undertake your hunt it can be transferred once only to another party.

Or it can be advanced, once only, to the next years hunt season at an extra cost of US $500

If you cancel your banquet auction booking NO refund is due from Lahar Sika Wilderness

Travel and hunt insurance is recommended in case you need to cancel your booking
